Heald College's career services team is supportive and experienced in helping students land rewarding jobs. The Heald team works with students both before and after they graduate. Before graduating, students receive advice on resume writing, interview skills and salary negotiation to help them win the right job that best matches their field of study. A high percentage of Heald College graduates secure jobs upon graduation.

Heald College's 11 campuses simulate actual offices and work environments. Students work in teams and individually, training with the latest technology and equipment. Heald College believes that course work and classroom interaction shouldn't be theoretical, but authentic. Students get a solid and practical education that is applicable in today's workplace.

At Heald College, 'real life' training often includes internships and externships (a term used in the medical field for internships) to gain on-the-job training, while earning classroom credit. Internships, externships and job shadowing are encouraged, so employers can "test-drive" a student without making a financial commitment. These programs also allow students to make decisions about the best workplace fit for their skills and interests.

Heald College offers employers a complete line of free recruitment services to help them find the best candidates. Each campus holds job fairs for students and employers to explore career opportunities. These invitation-only events typically welcome between 20-40 employers interested in hiring Heald College graduates for full-time or part-time positions.
