Graduates of Heald's Network Security program pursue rewarding careers in a variety of positions, including Information Security Specialist, Database Security Specialist, Web Application Security Specialist, LAN Administrator, Junior Network Administrator, and Technical Support Specialist (Tier II and Tier III). Network Security Job Duties
As a Network Security Specialist, you could be considered an expert in encryption, authentication and client and server security. You may be responsible for configuring firewalls, recovering and backing up critical business data, and using intrusion detection techniques to detect hacking activities.
